Bring on the fame and fortune…

In the past week or so, I was bestowed with 3 awards. Imagine my delight! What makes it even more special is that they came from people of blogs I adore. I am still shocked you guys read my nonsense. Seriously…so is my family.

Gretchen of Canela & Comino bestowed upon me a “You Make My Day” award. Gretchen has become a good friend in the past couple months. I just love reading all about her adventures in Peru. Her stories are often very humorous and her recipes are excellent. Thank you Gretchen, you totally made my day! Chelle of Sugar & Spice and Mary of Shazam in the Kitchen, both, bestowed upon me the E for Excellent Award. WOW! I am so thrilled you guys think my blog is deserving of this award! I would say the same right back at you both. When I started this silly blog last summer, I had no idea it would become such a big part of my life. Nor did I have any idea how many awesome friends I would make. For someone who is considered kind of a hermit, thats been HUGE for me. So thank you, thank you, thank you.

Clara of I Heart Cuppycakes. She is always trying new ideas and techniques. She is hilarious, too. Which is always good in my book.

Last but certainly not least ThePensBlog. This blog is day to day updates on all things Pens. It is funny as all f’n hell. Its the very first blog I read every single morning. Sometimes offensive, always hilarious, just the way I like it. The photoshops are particularly killer.

Lastly, while I am tooting my own horn, I am going to mention my blurb in The Pittsburg City Paper. Cupcake Hero is definitely reaching the masses, slowly but surely. Very cool!
