Vent for the day…

How can any legitimate grocery in a large suburb NOT have ANY white chocolate. Im talking none. None with the baking. None with the candy. No white chocolate ANYWHERE! I dont live in east bumblefuck. I live 20 minutes outside Pittsburgh for godssakes. You wouldnt know it by the supplies in our store. Thats just plain wrong.

Vent over. Ahh, much better.

  1. Perhaps it’s just because “white chocolate” is an abomination that they didn’t have it? The fact that it’s not chocolate at all, but some quasi-plastic cosmic evil?

    Glad you feel better. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. DaviMack- “quasi-plastic cosmic evil” indeed. However, its an ingredient in several of the Cupcake Hero entries this month… hence my need for it. And thanks, Im tired of my house being sick!!!

  3. I live in east bumblefuck, it’s pretty nice actually. Although “specialty” ingrediants like white chocolate are indeed hard to come by. Sorry I used it in my cupcake. It was worth the trek to the next county.

    Sadly, I’m serious.

  4. Mary- Sorry, I didnt mean to offend! I have lived in several places considered “bumblefuck”. Im just so much a city gal. And dont be sorry, Ill get my hands on it. Dont worry! ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Seriously?? I would think it would be a common item. However, then again I just went to a supermarket in a rather urban area of Seattle, and they DID NOT HAVE MARSHMALLOWS. WTF??

  6. No offense taken, I live in Norwalk, Ohio really. Population 12,000. And previously I lived in such magically big places as Metro Detroit, Chicago, Kansas City, Indianapolis, and Ann Arbor. I sometimes have a hard time adjusting. And I really do do most of my grocery shopping in the next county. ๐Ÿ™‚
